Our Treatments
Tempsure (RF)Treatment
TempSure Envi is a radio frequency treatment that reduces the symptoms of chronic dry eye and tightens the skin around our eyes. TempSure Envi delivers energy to the oil and tear glands around your eyes, boosting your body's own natural healing responses deep beneath the skin so you will be able to create more of your own tears and restore your optimal eye surface to reduce irritation. This energy also stimulates collagen production, leaving you with tighter, younger-looking skin! Tempsure radio frequency treatments can greatly improve meibomian gland disfunction.
What to expect
Your face will be cleaned with makeup remover if needed and prepped with an alcohol wipe to remove dirt and bacteria from the treatment area. A water based gel (may be pre warmed or cool) will be applied to your face. Your technician will then apply light pressure while simultaneously massaging the treatment area with an electrode which will gradually warm up to a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). While continuing to massage, this temperature will be maintained for a consistent 5 minutes. Eyes only treatments consist of 2 sections, full face treatments consist of 6 or 7 sections depending on the patient’s facial structure. Each section takes approximately 60-90 seconds to reach the treatment temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, but the need for setting adjustments and breaks may increase the amount of time to reach the ideal treatment temperature and keep the temperature consistent for 5 minutes. Once the treatment is finished, your technician will clean your face of any leftover gel and then apply a hydrating moisturizer.
Treatment time can take up to 20 minutes for eyes only, or 60-90 minutes for full face. For best aesthetic results, 1 treatment per decade of life is recommended.
IPL Treatment
PHOTO REJUVENATION
Dramatic rejuvenation of the skin is now possible using the Icon IPL system. The system uses Optimized Light™ photorejuvenation technology, which delivers gentle pulses of intense, optimized light to regions of unwanted pigmentation and facial vessels. The appearance of sunspots, age spots, spider veins, rosacea, and capillaries can be reduced. IPL treatement can greatly improve meibomian gland disfunction.
“How does this help my eyes?”
Since IPL can be used to correct vascular lesions, the same concept is applied to the inflamed vasculature around our eyes that contributes to dry eye syndrome.
What to expect
Your face will be cleaned with makeup remover if needed and prepped with an alcohol wipe to remove dirt and bacteria from the treatment area. A cold serum will be applied to your face as well as a pair of dark glasses or adhesive eye covers over your eyes to protect them during treatment. Once this is done, our knowledgeable technician will begin treating your skin with a handpiece that features a cold, smooth surface. They will move this around the skin while it admits the pulsing light into the skin. The technician will then finish off the treatment with a soothing mask and cold roller massage to reduce irritation.
Treatment time can be as short as 10-30 minutes, depending on the area treated.
Excellent results can be achieved within one or two treatments, but for best results several treatments may be required depending on the concern(s) being treated.
Since IPL is non ablative, there is little to no down time with this treatment. Patients are welcome to wear makeup and go about their usual activities as long as the skin is kept cool, clean and well protected with a clean hat, sunglasses and SPF 45 or greater.
For both Tempsure and IPL treatments, it is recommended that patients are well hydrated and have a good skincare routine for best comfort during treatment and to achieve the best results.

Do these treatments hurt?
Tempsure (RF) is actually very relaxing! It is described to feel like a hot stone massage for the face. IPL however is not as relaxing, but the treatment is very quick. Most patients say the pain feels like tiny rubber band snaps.
How much?
Every patient’s needs and concerns are different, so we have a variety of different treatment packages to help address that. We have eyes only packages for those that are mainly focused on eye health and we have face packages who want both heath and aesthetic benefits. These packages are fully customizable, so you can include both Tempsure and IPL in your treatment plan with no additional charge. Our eye packages start at $1200, full face packages start at $1700. All of our packages include a product discount off any in-house skincare or makeup purchase (percentage varies depending on the package purchased).
How do I know the amount of treatments I need?
Every new patient receives a complimentary consultation that will help determine which treatments and many will help address dry eye or aesthetic concerns.
Can everyone do these treatments?
Most everyone in a candidate for these treatments, but like most procedures, there are contraindications that could potentially deny your ability to receive these specific treatments. We do a thorough consultation for every new patient to be sure they are a candidate.
